The Dexter Room

Dexter Room - the larger ceremony room at Oxford register office. This room has free Wi-Fi access.

The ceremony rooms at Oxford Register Office are located in a Victorian building close to the city centre.

The larger Dexter Room has oak panelling and stained glass windows. The room is attractively decorated in cream and aubergine with decorative cornices and is licensed for 50 people for ceremonies at weekends and bank holidays. The maximum number is 25 on weekdays.

There are also three offices available for a small ceremony with just two witnesses.

Free Wi-Fi

We are pleased to be able to offer free Wi-Fi in the Dexter Room for use during ceremonies.

You can stream your ceremony live from your laptop. Involve distant family /friends in your ceremony via a webcam, and have easy access to the internet.

A policy on the terms and conditions of the use of this service will need to be signed before we can issue you with the key to enable Wi-Fi access. Please ask for the policy upon arrival at reception. Please note, we cannot guarantee Internet availability.

All equipment, including laptops, must be provided by the user.


Parking and access

Disabled access is good and public car parks are close by.
