Values and Culture report and action plan
In March 2023, His Majesties Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) published a report concerning the values and cultures within Fire & Rescue Services in England. This report identified 35 recommendations with a set of timelines recorded against them.

Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service fully accepts the challenges that the sector faces regarding culture and values. We embrace opportunities for improvement, and as such, we have been striving to meet the recommendations within this report.

HMICFRS Inspection Report 2021-22
Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) Inspection Report examines the service’s effectiveness, efficiency and how well it looks after its people. The report is designed to give the public detailed information about how their local fire and rescue service is performing. Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service were pleased to have achieved a Good rating in all three areas of the inspection:
