Oxfordshire County: Personal Website Workshop

Wanted to build yourself a personal website, but never gotten around to it? Not sure how to do it, or want some help with it? Come join us at codebar Oxford for a day of website building in May!

In the morning, we’ll work on the building blocks of your website - HTML, which puts content on your pages. In the second half of the day, we’ll look at CSS for apply some styling and making it your own, and we’ll also look at getting your website hosted online for free, using GitHub! So at the end of the day, you should have your own website up on the internet! Pretty awesome right?

As well as developers volunteering to coach you in HTML and CSS, we’ll also have designers coming along as volunteers to help you fine tune the appearance of your website. If that wasn’t awesome enough, Marten, one of the codebar Oxford organisers, is also offering to take free professional headshot photos of attendees, for you to use however you want!

Free tickets are available at https://codebar.io/events/
