We are now issuing Virtual Resident Parking Permits and you are no longer required to display a paper version. Please ensure you know your controlled parking zone prefix when leaving your vehicle in a Permit Holder Bay.

You can only change your permit if the current vehicle is in your name and the new vehicle will be in your name. There is no charge for changing your permit.

What you need to provide

When you change the vehicle on your parking permit, you need to prove that you are the vehicle's registered keeper.

The quickest way to provide this information is to upload it when making the application. You can upload a photo or a scanned image from your computer, smartphone, tablet, or scanner.

Proofs of 'registered keeper of the vehicle' we accept

The proof you will be asked to provide depends on your vehicle ownership type. You need to provide one or more of the following.

• Vehicle registration certificate (V5C) in your name (front and second page only).
• If you have recently purchased the vehicle (in the last six weeks), then a garage sales invoice or New Keeper Supplement (V5C2) will suffice.

If the permit is for South Oxford Extension (SE), Temple Cowley (CL), Holloway South (HS), Florence Park (FP), East Oxford (EO), Divinity Road (DV), Magdalen Road North (MN), Iffley Fields (FS), Wood Farm (WF), Magdalen Road and Howard Street (RH), Holloway (HT), Cowley Marsh (CM), Waterways (WW), New Headington Quarry (QV), New Marston (MA), Cowley Central East (CT) or Cowley Central West (CS) your V5C certificate needs to be registered at that address.

If your vehicle is a company car, a letter must be produced on company headed paper with the following text:
