Fees for registration services

Fees for ceremonies, certificates, giving notice and the attendance of registrars.

Booking and cancellation fees

A booking fee will be payable for all ceremony bookings and cancellation fees will be payable. Oxfordshire Registration Service ceremony booking terms and conditions (pdf format, 44Kb)

Card payment can be made by telephoning 0345 241 2489. Visa, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro and Delta are all accepted in our offices. Payment can also be posted to us, with cheques made payable to Oxfordshire County Council.

The fees for ceremonies scheduled to take place after 1 April 2018 are subject to review.

Birth, death and marriage certificates

(If the certificate is required to apply for a passport, you will need to apply for a standard birth certificate.)

You can order and pay for copy certificates online.

Express fees and postage

Express fees for certificates are £25 before 31 March, 2018 and £30 after 1 April, 2018. This is in addition to the £10 fee.

Please note a postage and handling charge will be made for all certificates. This includes Royal Mail delivery of £1.50 to UK addresses or £2 elsewhere in the world. This does not apply if a stamped addressed envelope is provided with the application or the certificate picked up in person.

Commemorative certificates

Commemorative certificates can celebrate any special occasion, such as a birth, wedding anniversary or birthday.
