For families to enjoy during museum opening hours:

  • Free trails, backpacks and explorer bags
  • Activities for under 5s with Tom the Sheepdog
  • Cosy reading corners

  • Explore our garden with its Jurassic plants
  • Feed the dinosaurs in the gallery
  • Dinosaur puppet theatre
  • Discover dinosaur bones, fossils and what they can tell us

School holiday activities

TOMTots

Tuesdays: 10.30 – 11am 
Music, stories and rhymes for the under 5s.
£1 per child, £2.50 per family 

Family fun drop-ins

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2 – 4pm
Fun and creative activities for all ages.
£2 per child, £5 per family
