Minerals and waste policy

Landfill site

A new Minerals and Waste Local Plan for Oxfordshire is being developed in two parts; core strategy and site allocations. Both of these, upon adoption, will guide all future Minerals and Waste Development across the county. It will replace the planning policy contained in the Minerals and Waste Local Plan (1996).

Part 1: The Core Strategy, with the Inspector's recommended modifications, was adopted by the County Council on 12 September 2017. Find more information about the adopted plan, related documents and further information.
