Paying for care | Oxfordshire County Council

Paying for care

Social care - unlike health services - is not free and most users have to contribute to the cost of their care.

After your care needs assessment, which works out what support you require, we will need to complete a financial assessment to find out how much you will have to contribute towards the cost of the care you receive.

More detailed information about Care and Support Statutory Guidance issued by the Department of Health.
